The beauty industry uses a phenomenal amount of plastic, chemicals and resources to keep its huge wheels turning. It’s not the only industry to do so but like many others, it is coming under increased scrutiny to reduce its reliance on all of the above and become a more sustainable sector.
ARÜVEDA has developed strategic plans to deliver our products and services in a sustainable manner. Sustainability is most often defined as meeting the needs of the current market without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. This sustainability plan has three main pillars; economic, environmental and social. They are informally referred to as people, planet and profits.
The Environmental Pillar
ARÜVEDA is committed to our focus on reducing our carbon footprint (packaging, water usage and the overall effect on the environment).
The Social Pillar
ARÜVEDA’s social consciousness focuses on treating employees fairly, being a good neighbor and citizen (both locally and globally).
The Economic Pillar
ARÜVEDA’s governance pillar will align with the interest of the community, value chains and end-user…the consumer.
